Who's the fastest windsurfer ever? ▫️ We ran a reel recently on the 500m World Sailing Speed Record currently held by Paul Larsen on Sailrocket 2. There are quite a few windsurfers on the list. ▫️ We got quite a few comments asking "where is Bjorn Dunkerbeck?" While he doesn´t hold any 500m sailing records, he has held 3 outright records over a nautical mile and also hit 55.97 knots over a 2 second time gap in 2021. ▫️ So here he is. If you don't have a launching trolley then the simplest way to get your boat up and down the beach is with an inflatable roller like this. Of course, unlike a trolley, you can take it with you, just deflate it and roll it up. Obviously you really need two or three (but I just have one - for now!). Don't get one that is too short or the boat might roll off the end of it. Of course a wide, flat bottomed boat works best. I got mine from www.sailormall.net, search for pneumatic roller, not inflatable roller!
