Hi!👋🏻 We're Ed & Paige. We met in 2011, and in 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father (I got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌🏻). Following his return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. After nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. We've decided to spend the next few years dedicating ourselves to travel and adventure while living aboard our 37 foot home, Sea Pearl. This is video 8 in Nicks step by step singlehanded Docking To/With Lazy Lines =========================== Transcript Now when we go stern to in a marina like this as you can see out on the dock he's pulling up the line for us. So he's going to pull up the lazy line which extends out to our bow mooring lines. And that is what's going to hold our bow out to the water. This is why it's very hard to do this absolutely solo. Now I'm using neutral here all the time and as you can see we're not going fast. It's not a windy day. I do not need to go fast and we're done.
