► Since 1973, the La Rochelle Boat Show, known simply as “Le Grand Pavois” in French, has been THE not-to-be-missed afloat show on France’s Atlantic coast. With 750 boats on display and a record 80,000 visitors, the 2023 event (that ran from September 20 to 25, so a little earlier than usual) clearly benefited from the scheduled absence of the Paris Boat Show at the end of the year. According to the organizers, no more than 10 square feet was left available at the Port des Minimes! Of course, the Multihulls World team was there. Part 360-degree exhibition and part boutique collectable shop, Clhere Cunard have collated a combination of unusual high end pieces from their partner brands as well as a collection of items from Cunard's own archive. Set alongside an audio and visual media display showcasing the joy and style of travel, it's a really interesting inclusion in Queen Anne's onboard shopping.

La nostra bella Freya deve prepararsi per stare bene per tante e tante miglia ancora, quindi senza pensarci troppo abbiamo già fatto cominciare la nuova stagione, quella del cantiere. I lavori in lista sono tanti e impegnativi. Per dirvene qualcuno, abbiamo disalberato per fare una modifica al sartiame e stiamo facendo un ponteggio intorno alla barca per gelcoattare lo scafo e risistemare la coperta.
