Como yo la practico, os aseguro que la navegación a vela es un deporte duro, pero que te llena de satisfacciones. Te mojas con la lluvia y las embestidas de la mar, pasas frío, calor, te das golpes continuamente. No paras de tirar de escotas, drizas, contras, amantillos, barbers. Pero en cuanto vuelas un gennaker, un código cero o llevas las velas perfectamente trimadas y el barco surca el mar con una escora perfecta, ya nada importa. Exiting the Narrows of Strangford Lough and crossing the Bar mouth to head out into the Irish Sea is always exciting when you have wind verse tide. The passage was out in this years Ardglass Race hosted by East Down Yacht Club was no different. J109 GTR powered through the biggest seas which were breaking over the deck at there steepest point.
