Toni and I boarded Moments in Time with Captain Mike for our first shakedown sail. It was a morning of flooding rains and stiff breezes. We found this and that issues which we were able to resolve but as the breezes reached 30+ knot winds and the waves turned the minutes to hours, we headed back to Liberty Marine satisfied with the day’s progress. After 260Nm and about 46hrs we sailed all the way from Jacksonville to West Palm Beach. We even saw manta rays on the way South and a rocket. good crossing overall. We got our Covid test done today and are now waiting for the results to cross to the Bahamas. Wish us luck. #shorts
