Before you ask for a shortlist, count the beds. On a BVI catamaran, a double cabin is one large bed, usually queen-size, and it is meant for a couple. A twin cabin is two separate single beds, which is what kids, siblings and friends actually need. A bunk cabin or pullman stacks berths for kids and teens who do not mind a smaller cabin. Groups of couples usually want equal double cabins so nobody draws the short straw. Families usually want a master for the parents plus twins or bunks for the kids. Those are two different boats, and the cabin count on the listing looks identical for both. Tell your broker who shares, who needs separate beds, and whether the cabins should match.
