As we are leaving on a jet plane bound for Thailand to start 2025’s adventures it seems a good time to look back at all that we did in 2024. Sometimes it’s only when you look back that you truly see all that you’ve done. 2024 for us has been another year of incredible adventures; from sailing ⛵️our home from Gibraltar back to the U.K. against the prevailing trade winds, to buying a barge and navigating miles of the inland waterways to move our new home to the Midlands, and all that came between. 2025 has so much in store for us already. New adventures, by land, by water and air await! The crew on the J109 Going to Red showed how clockwork crew work keeps up your boat speed as you change sails and round a mark. Coming into race the top mark of race 3 of the annual narrows regatta on Strangford Lough the team was overlayed with the kite setup on the wrong side of a gybe set. The team recovered with some clockwork crew work which turned out to be faster than a gybe set. The team did a lightening set on the approach to the mark, quickly getting the jib down and setting up for a gybe where they only lost the kite for a couple of second. The exceptional crew work allowed the team to stretch out their lead going ton to tack the victory and the overall series. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying these quick clips from the 2024 racing season with the days getting longer it will not be too long until the boats is back in the water so we can start making more memories as part of the 2025 season.

Mise à l'eau et inauguration du 4X "Ritual" de Jean-Pierre Balmès! Il participera à la Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe 2018 qui reliera Saint-Malo à Point-à-Pitre en novembre prochain. Une course qui se fera en soutien à l' Association Rire, clowns pour enfants hospitalisés.
