Season 2 of Wave Rover starts off with a Huge announcement! I'm building a new boat. Wave Rover Hull #1 is a brand new 21foot pocket cruiser. Designed by an naval architect to comfortably circumnavigate the world, and yet, be built by the average person in a residential garage/shed. Design ideas that I have thought about over my many ocean voyages, both large and small, have been included in this design. The reason for the 2 different Displacement numbers: 2350lbs light boat; 2950 long range cruising( fully loaded with supplies for a 60 day voyage). I will build her over the next 18 months. Giorno 18 - SICILIA (Milazzo) Franco (nome dato in onore di colui che l’ha donato a questa barca) è un #minchiallegro. Ama viaggiare e da un paio d’anni scopre il mondo dall’oblò di Julia. Franco oggi è stato a Milazzo. Ha noleggiato un’auto e ha visitato la città. Ha mangiato una pizza (poverino, così piccolo non è riuscito a finirla) e ha goduto dell’atmosfera di una città turistica al tramonto della stagione. Franco non ama i temporali. Ecco perché è andato in un porto moooolto ben ridossato rispetto al maltempo che dilaga in mediterraneo. Da qui Franco senza appena la risacca di onde che hanno interrotto la loro sfrenata corsa parecchi metri più in là.
