Croats love it when visitors make the effort to learn their language. Plus, it doesn’t hurt to say you can speak two languages! Before we get started, let it be known that Croatian is a really tough language to learn – everyone will tell you it’s a complicated language to master, given that accents and feminine/masculine nouns are involved. But, like anything that you set your mind to, when you achieve it, it feels good! Here are some basic phrases to get you started on your journey to mastering the Croatian language: English: Hello Croatian: Bok Sounds Like: Bohk English: How are you? Croatian: Kako ste?
