Seit April 2023 leben und arbeiten wir, Sarah und Michael, an Bord unserer Segelyacht Lilo und segeln in der Ostsee zu den schönsten Orten. Mit dabei sind unsere beiden Fellnasen Trishi und Merlin, die ebenfalls das Segeln für sich entdeckt haben und uns bei unseren Touren auf dem Wasser und an Land stets begleiten. Da wir nicht nur segeln möchten, sondern ebenfalls die Menschen und die Länder rund um die Ostsee kennenlernen möchten, sind wir eher gemütlich unterwegs. Wir freuen uns über jeden, der uns virtuell auf unserer Reise begleiten möchte. http://www.TheNorthStory.de Since April 2023, we, Sarah and Michael, have been living and working on board our sailing yacht Lilo and sailing to the most beautiful places in the Baltic Sea. Our two dogs Trishi and Merlin, who have also discovered sailing for themselves and always accompany us on our tours on the water and on land, are also on board. As we don't just want to sail, but also want to get to know the people and countries around the Baltic Sea, we tend to travel at a more leisurely pace. Il viaggio continua. Come ogni cosa ha una sua fine e anche questa volta si sta avvicinando. Le sensazioni sono contrastanti. “Allora domani ultimo giorno”, “appena arriviamo baciamo la terra”, “che poi alla fine si sta così bene qui..” Insomma, ci sono desideri di arrivare che fanno la lotta con lo star bene a bordo. Sicuramente mancano ore di sonno, quelle non saranno mai troppe! Stiamo galoppando verso Martinica e iniziamo, con grande anticipo, ad allenare i nostri occhi a scrutare l’orizzonte in cerca di qualcosa diverso dal mare. Chi vincerà come primo avvistatore? Lo scopriremo molto presto! Una cosa è certa, la voglia di arrivare non riuscirà a impedirci di vivere il momento in cui siamo, spinti da un dolce aliseo su un mare dorato dal sole. Andrea

When in town one must always visit the local watering holes. 🍻 Of course we had to visit Green TurtleTavern, but we noticed there was a new place across from it that wasn’t here last time we were here. We stopped at Hofbrau Amelia, an authentic German style biergarten. We got a couple mugs of hefeweizen and giant pretzel that totally spoiled our dinner but was so worth it! 🥨 .
