We plan to sail her to Harbors Unknown, and explore the world’s vast cultures through food, a common thread amongst people everywhere. Connecting with people and places through the local cuisine, and showing how those dishes can be cooked on a boat with limited space and resources. We share our adventures as a sailing couple living on a boat and how it’s possible to live an #alternativelifestyle that provides freedom and fulfillment. With the self-imposed sailing deadline of April 1st here, I couldn’t wait for the water pump to arrive. So my friend, Rick Cook came to help me get Vie Sauvage out of the marina and her sails hoisted. The tender and old Johnson outboard did the job in towing the 4ton sailboat both out and into the marina. A long day of gentle breezes and practice in sailing. My first sail ever on my own boat!
