Our goal is to complete a circumnavigation and we recently transitioned to a performance catamaran and are madly in love with our Outremer 52. We are working with Outremer in France (with the help of Google Translate) to launch our boat project and start our journey as sailing vagabonds. While it’s not a race or speed test, we are doing our first Bluewater crossing this year and we are excited to see AWEN stretch her legs and dance on the water. Join us as we share what we’re learning living without Amazon, (but with Starlink), and attempt this new life of travel and adventure on the ocean. Please be patient with us as we continue to improve our YouTube vlogging skills. Our goal isn’t to make our life a movie, it’s to give back to what others have shared with us. Holly and Stephane are formerly from the San Francisco Bay Area but have a home in Tahoe. Our 'someday' plan was to sell our belongings, buy a boat, and, with reckless abandon, sail away to visit distant lands, which we did starting in 2020. You can follow our transition and journey in our candid podcast, Covert Castaway, wherever you listen. You can also follow every stop we’ve made with pictures and blogs and stream our podcast directly on our website. ================================= #sailing #bahamassailing #catamaranlife #oceanadventure #outremer #sailing #catamaran #outremer #boatlife #catamaran #travelvlog #digitalnomad #lifestyle #sailboats #stayhealthy #learning #vlog #podcast #live #motivation #travel #nomad #boattour #sailingadventure #bucketlist #adventure #nomad #retirement #adventureawaits #ocean #learning #youtubecommunity #youtubelife #vlog #youtubechannel #performance #weather #SwN&x% © Sailing AWEN

E' di facile accesso il quadro elettrico 220 v sulla nuovissima Beneteau Gt 38, che ci permette di accendere il boiler dell'acqua calda, di accendere il carica batterie e di dare corrente alle prese a 220 v interne.

Following an epic race across the Atlantic, Roland Jourdain, racing an Outremer 5X, beat off his rivals to cross first the 12th edition of the Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe in the Rhum Multi Class. This is the third time that he has crossed the finish first in the legendary race following victories in 2006 and 2010. Bilou, onboard ‘We Explore’, crossed the finish line in Pointe-à-Pitre on Friday 25th November 2022 at 15:06 (local time) having completed the race from Saint-Malo to Pointe-à-Pitre in 16 days, 5 hours, and 51 minutes after sailing 4,163 nautical miles at an average speed of 10.68 knots. Upon arrival and inspections, Roland Jourdain was given a statutory time penalty of 90 minutes for a broken lead seal on his boat and so therefore falls to second place behind Loïc Escoffier (Lodigroup) who crossed just over 43 minutes after the Outremer 5X. “Loic also got a penalty a few days ago and so it would not have felt right for me to win with a broken seal. It takes nothing away and I am delighted with my race. I was not trying to win and could not have dreamt for a better race. I am pleased for Loic; he deserves with victory.” adds a happy Jourdain. http://foodnfemininity.blogspot.com/2015/01/DIY-ring-dish-modern-cone.html In this video, learn how to make your own DIY ring holder using air-dry clay. All it takes are these easy 3 steps and $10. I was totally inspired by fellow Brooklynite Re Jin Lee, founder of Bailey Doesn't Bark (http://www.baileydoesntbark.com/), who crafts the most amazing ceramic goods. I desperately wanted to buy her white jewelry cone (http://goo.gl/jmJl61) after getting engaged but it was sold out everywhere. My solution: Make a cheap/homemade version on my own—so happy with the results! Hope you enjoy the video! Take a peek at the Bailey Doesn't Bark original to see how it compares and please let me know what you think in the comments below! http://www.baileydoesntbark.com/

@boatfools I love coming across these old sailboats - they look to me both sad and beautiful. It does look like someone has done or is doing some work on her. Looks like she would be a real beauty... The name on her stern is ROBIN - and looks like she hailed from Moss Landing, CA. Anyone know her story?
