The start of the One Circular Quay Australian Maxi Championship SOLAS Big Boat Challenge saw Master Lock Comanche lead the fleet down the harbour. Bow Caddy tracked her from our boat and this is the result from a hand-held non-gimballed camera with Master Lock Comanche reaching speeds of around 25 knots plus. It was an impressive sight. Stamane sono arrivata con la mia barca a vela Maneki all'isola piu' piccola dell'arcipelago delle Canarie, la Graciosa. E' separata da Lanzarote solo da qualche miglia, ma e' completamente differente, la sua sabbia e' dorata e i coni vulcanici variopinti. C'e' un unico ancoraggio, playa Francesa e un'unica marima, Caleta de Sebo. Il resto e' riserva marina. non ci sono strade asfaltate e la si percorre in bicicletta in un giorno. Ma durante il weekend e' affollata di turisti che arrivano dalla vicina Lanzarote.
