In order to get our sailboat home ready to explore the Caribbean Sea it was time to reinstall the genoa sail! Nicknamed "the dummy sail" on our boat, it's the easiest of our sails to use, able to be operated by one person back in the helm of our Leopard 45 catamaran, and used in a wide range of wind conditions. Time is quickly ticking down and it's raining. Most of our remaining critical projects are outside, so we spent the day working on anything we could do indoors. As soon as the rain stopped, after dark of course, it was back to trouble shooting the windlass. That one MUST be done.
