Lionel Lemonchois et Roland Jourdain, dont le trimaran Prince-de-Bretagne engagé dans la Transat Jacques-Vabre a chaviré, lundi 26 octobre, au large du cap Finisterre (nord-ouest de l’Espagne), ont été hélitreuillés mardi soir, une heure et demie après avoir déclenché leur balise de détresse. Selon les organisateurs de la course, les deux hommes ont été récupérés sains et saufs à 17 h 40 par un hélicoptère espagnol. Ils avaient activé leur balise de détresse à 16 h 20. Le bateau a été abandonné sur les lieux du chavirage, à quelque 140 milles (environ 260 km) du cap Finisterre (nord-ouest de l’Espagne). Sailing News TV est la première chaîne Youtube sur la voile.
