Non mi riferisco al visitare i posti o fare i turisti, quanto più a essere qui con mente e corpo, essere presenti. I pensieri invece volano sempre verso isole lontane, dove le responsabilità e il vortice lavorativo assorbono ogni cosa. Stasera durante il tramonto è accaduta una cosa che non capitava da un po’. Andre ha preso il piano e io mi sono sdraiata accanto a lui ad ascoltarlo. Di nuovo guardando il cielo ho potuto sentire quanto quel momento fosse di valore, quanto fosse importante. Respiriamo aria pulita, viviamo a contatto con la natura, abbiamo una fortuna indescrivibile, eppure è così facile dimenticarsi di guardare il cielo. Stasera tutto si è riallineato nuovamente, abbiamo parlato, ci siamo tenuti la mano, abbiamo aggiunto un tassello piccolo ma importante in questa routine che attraversa la felicita. This video illustrates the force of the wind while on a close hauled/close reach with one reef in the main and 2/3 of the Genoa out in 17 knots of wind with 23 knot gusts. Our speed over ground last week ranged from a comfortable 6.5 knots to 12.5 knots. As you may know, the Lagoon 450 is well known for its capability to sail in low wind and down wind. We also realized the 450's ability to provide a controlled and comfortable “banging up wind” experience during our 21 day trip around the BVIs.
