This animation is made by KTF Cranes who will be craning out the 32m aluminium catamaran at our KM yard. The catamaran, previously called Ice Lady Patagonia II, will be at our yard for the next year or so while we perform a major refit and maintenance job on her. A gale suddenly blows into the bay but, the sailboat storm anchor holds fast. A day of intense gusts and anxious moments, but Vie Sauvage holds steady with her over-sized anchor. Too much anchor is better than too little in my limited experience.
