We made a 7sqm screecher for our 14ft plywood Zeta trimaran and tried it today. As you can see from the mirror like surface there wasn't much wind! It was all a lash up, I have no cleats for mainsheet or screecher so had to handhold everything. But it sailed well and tacked easily. You can build your own Zeta trimaran from 7 sheets of ply in 150 hours. The boat weighs 73kgs, 160lbs, ex rig. A quick trip to a favourite spot...and then some dry fly success! The release was perfect too. I would appreciate it if you hit the subscribe button...if I've earned that. So much more to come...wild food ingredients and how to collect them~ This is an absolute favourite stream of mine. It has produced some stellar days on the water. This mountain stream boasts four species of game fish; Bull Trout, Brown Trout, Rocky Mountain Whitefish, and Westslope Cutthroat Trout. They all take flies well and see very little pressure. A gem of a stream in beautiful Alberta, Canada.
