Comprobar periódicamente el estado de nuestra jarcia es imprescindible. El mástil, que está compuesto de simple aluminio, sufre unas cargas terribles por la presión que ejerce el viento en las velas. Esto aumenta cuando viene una racha de viento o al virar el barco. Date cuenta que si se suelta un obenque o un estay, la rotura del mástil y desarboladura del mismo es inminente. The second week for the season ending frosties regatta at SLYC was sailed under grey skies with in light to moderate breeze. The crew on the J109 GTR was short handed on the day some many of the crew had to double job when turning the corners. The skipper of GTR was thrown forward to the bow to ensure the kite was stowed before running down the back to steer the boat up the next beat. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying the footage from the final regatta of the 2024 sailing season.
