http://www.mauiwindsurfing.net Playing around with my new camcorder at Kanaha a few weeks ago, caught a few moments of Josh Angulo and Camile Juban (I think) in what was intended to be a Gun Sails photo shoot, but the wind turned super light and offshore so they were pretty underpowered.

Look at this #remorafish cleaning the tank of our #divebuddy, such generous fish! Glad he doesn't have to clean the tank by himself since he has his own private #underwater cleaning assistance! The remora fish, also known as #suckerfish are a group of fish species belonging to the family #Echeneidae. These unique and interesting fish are known for their specialized adaptations that allow them to hitch rides to larger marine animals such as sharks, #whales, #seaturtles, and even #Mantarays. The modified dorsal fin possessed by these fish acts like a suction pad and is so unique, it is called a “sucker disc.” With this sucker disc, they attach themselves to their host’s body and eat parasites and dead skin, providing a cleaning service that benefits the host. Kaikōura Island is the seventh largest island in the Hauraki Gulf and in the early 2000's was purchased from private ownership to become a public reserve managed by a Trust. Since then, extensive eradication of pests has been undertaken and natural regeneration of native forest is occurring. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk up to the airfield on Kaikōura Island.
