The Mumm 36 is a great boat to push hard downwind in a breeze. As soon as the wind gets above 15 to 18 knots you could easily get the boat up and planning on a broad reach or run. With the storm cloud blowing in rain and the blue sky shinning in the back ground the whole crew was on edge as the tried to soak deep at speed to make it around the bottom mark without the need for a risky gybe. With the waves almost breaking breaking as the sea way built we were easily touching 12 knots of boats speed as raced toward the bottom mark. This was another Mumm 36 memory for our days racing Go To Red on Strangford lough. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying our short racing clips why not come on board and join the crew by subscribing to our channel.
