The aft cabin is one of the biggest spaces on Vela, but we still see so much potential to optimize! Hereâs what weâre planning: đ ī¸ Extra Storage: Weâre building cabinets on each side of the bed and adding shelves inside the hanging lockersâbecause you can never have too much storage for clothes and gear on a boat. đĄ Desk Transformation: That âmake-up tableâ (seriously, who uses it?) is getting a makeover! Weâre turning it into a retractable desk with shelves aboveâperfect for working or planning our next adventures. đŦī¸ Ventilating Cupboard Doors: On our nice-to-have list are ventilating doors for better airflow and to prevent condensationâpractical and pretty. đ§ Watermaker Plans: Weâre considering fitting the membranes for our watermaker under the bed, making good use of otherwise empty space. This cabin is already cozy, but we canât wait to make it even more functional for life on board. What do you think of our plans? Any ideas we should consider?
