Regardless if you call it a Chinese Gybe, Death Roll or Uncontrolled Gybe they can happen in a heart beat. One second you are cruising along and the next you are lying flat in the water with little or no ability to do anything about it. This Chinese Gybe was over in an instant, cost us the race, in reflection it taught us a lot about preventing it from happening again and how to recover better if it does happen again. There's a very special dive site in Alor, Indonesia that is completely covered in anemones. There is quite often current here so it is a great drift dive. Just whiz along and enjoy the view. It is incredible, even inch of the dive site is a big blanket of anemones.
