Vaan Yachts have launched a finish on their aluminium catamarans called VIVID ALU which shows the tough and strong aluminium hull blending with sustainable and luxurious cork decking. The large glass surfaces ,glossy roof and rollbar complete the signature Vaan aesthetic. . Vaan Vivid Alu does not have to be repainted. Maintenance is mostly just cleaning, and scratches are simply re-sanded. The insurance we went through probably 15 different insurance agencies looking for someone who would insure the crossing for the Atlantic, insure the boat while it was in Croatia. And being a U.S citizen with a U.S flag boat in a foreign country not a lot of people were interested. The tip that we actually got that worked out was from Nick for UNIQUA Insurance and they were super helpful. Easy, it just fell right into place.
