Two years on Hi. ⛵️ Two years that challenged us, stretched us, and opened us up in ways we didn’t expect. It’s been beautiful. And hard. And completely worth it. Some days felt like two weeks. Others like five years. We’ve had unforgettable highs – and some very real lows. One of the biggest lessons? This life triggers everything. Our perfectionism. Our need for control. Our idea of “how things should be.” And that doesn’t make it easier – but it makes it honest. It shows us who we really are. And what we’re ready to let go of. We’ve fixed things, broken things, tried things, and left things behind. We’ve learned.We’ve grown.And our love? It’s deeper than ever – even when it’s messy. Are we fully there yet? Maybe. S/V Iko Iko is a 2009 Wharram Tiki 38 Catamaran, for sale by owner. Iko Iko is a gaff-rigged schooner with a covered wheelhouse. Recent maintenance and improvements (2021 and 2022) include: new roller furler; all new Dyneema lashings and standing rigging; new suite of sails; new carburetors for both Yamaha 9.9 HP outboards; new, 3m hard-bottom dinghy; new ablative bottom paint and non-skid epoxy on the tops of both hulls; 5 new 12v batteries and charge controller for 600 W of solar panels on the wheel house roof.
