In this episode we sail, we motor sail and we get stuck with our anchor wrapped up in an old net in the harbour at Tanjung Siwa. Don’t worry, we’ll show you a very quick and easy way to untangle a fouled anchor. After sailing in Greece we have plenty of experience. Then we motor sail again and, finally, we reach our northern destination of Palopo. We’re sailing with friends Daniel and Emma on our buddy boat Lola B in an area of the huge Indonesian Island of Sulawesi very rarely visited by cruising boats. The Elan Hindsight stretched out to a lead over over two minutes at the first mark during racing at the Quoile Yacht Club 2 Day Event after a great decision to gybe away from the fleet to head over to the Portaferry shoreline to get relief from the tide. The team on J109 Going to Red worked hard up the first beat to close the gap before gliding by into the lead with a textbook leebow about half way to the second racing mark. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying these short clips of racing action from the 2024 season.
