Now that my daughters are growing up and have their own plans nowadays, I am much more by myself and that takes some time to get used to. I knew this moment was coming, but experiencing it is something else. 😳 How do I deal with ‘Vita’ instead of mum...well, solo sailing, for instance! The Causeway bridge connects the Dutch side of St. Maarten, to the French side of St. Martin. The bridge was officially opened in 2008 and spans a length of approximately 3.5 km. The bridge is frequently used by tourists and locals as a scenic drive as it offers stunning views of the Lagoon and surrounding areas. Only a few months ago our Indian friend Gladwin couldn't swim. He couldn't even jump in a shallow swimming pool to begin with and yet now, thanks to myself and Brian he is doing lengths.
