A friend took a quick video of my electric bike. I'd already ridden 25km that day so the battery was about half full. When full it'll wheelie on full throttle and I'd have to be careful not to flip it! I hit 58km/h in the video here, but had to stop accelerating as I was running out of road! The motor I used was designed for torque. 120nM of torque in my setup. Top speed: 65km/h on a flat road, 55km/h uphill (any hill!) Range: 50km Cost to recharge: $0.09!
