The Aventura 50 will be joining the Virgin Charter Yachts BVI bareboat charter fleet at Nanny Cay Marina in the British Virgin Islands in the Spring of 2024. Our new cruising yacht Viator Explorer 42 DS has 2x10KW electric motors as propulsion. Those motors can be used as hydrogenerators when sailing. We are testing this feature in this short video. The maximum output is about 21A, which equals about 1KW. But it is still very volatile, so we have to optimize the regeneration process.
