The Pegasus 50 hull construction composite is made of a hybrid of carbon and glass fibres, with a PVC core and vinyl ester resin. A carefully controlled vacuum-infusion process creates a laminate of exceptional quality. The combination of glass and carbon fibres increases impact resistance while simultaneously improving structural stability and reducing displacement. The boat benefits from a monocoque construction, in which the deck, bulkheads and floors are bonded and fully laminated to the hull.
