► Since 1973, the La Rochelle Boat Show, known simply as “Le Grand Pavois” in French, has been THE not-to-be-missed afloat show on France’s Atlantic coast. With 750 boats on display and a record 80,000 visitors, the 2023 event (that ran from September 20 to 25, so a little earlier than usual) clearly benefited from the scheduled absence of the Paris Boat Show at the end of the year. According to the organizers, no more than 10 square feet was left available at the Port des Minimes! Of course, the Multihulls World team was there. Ecco la sequenza per aprire il fiocco o il genoa, ricordati che andrebbe aperta prima la randa: 1 - controlla che la coperta sia sgombra 2 - rizza sottocoperta 3 - chiudi il tambucio 4 - mettiti al traverso o a un'andatura portante 5 - libera la controscotta 6 - arma con uno o due colli la scotta 7 - libera la cima del rollafiocco 8 - cazza la scotta per srotolare il fiocco/genoa 9 - metti a segno la vela Stai andando a vela! Imparare ad andare a vela non è facile, ma l'unico modo per farlo è provare! Non avere vergogna, prova, prova e riprova e fra una regolazione e l'altra vedrai che riuscirai a fare amicizia con il vento!
