In this video I show how to tie the rolling hitch, which is also called stopper hitch. We use the rolling hitch for example if we want to attach a line to another line that is tensed. For example when several boats are supposed to be towed with one single line. It is possible to shift the knot on the line in one direction and to the other direction it stops. The Kerr 32 HighJacker lead the way in the first race of the annual strangford lough narrows series. The sun was peaking through the clouds just after the start on the first run before the rain and wind built with puffs over 30 knots. The Kerr 32 slipped away for the the J109 GTR on the way to the bottom mark before stretching their lead on the first beat. As the rain and wind kicking in the during the second half of the race the J109 powered on to victory both over the line and on corrected time.
