We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. The Impulse 1100 freeride foil is designed for first-timers and experienced flyers, both with the sail and the wing. In June 2022 we chose to scrape and grind our hull down to the original gel coat. It was hot, it was hard work and yes it was worth it. Flashback to Preveza, Greece working on the hull and knowing it was all going to be worth it.
