We made it to the last day of the sailboat show! We are tired, loosing our voices but very happy! The turnout has been phenomenal with every day busy busy. Did you know that National Hispanic Heritage month starts today? So to celebrate my own Hispanic heritage, I bring to you the Paloma, the national drink of Mexico! Yes it’s true! The Paloma - not the margarita - is the national drink of Mexico! How to make a Paloma Ingredients 1.5 ounces tequila 1 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed 1 ounce grapefruit juice A splash of Jarritos grapefruit soda, chilled Garnish: lime wheel Garnish: tajin rim (optional) Steps Rub a lime wedge around the edge of a highball glass and dip the rim in tajin (optional). Add the tequila, lime juice, and grapefruit juice to the glass, then fill with ice. Top with a splash of chilled Jarritos grapefruit soda and stir gently to combine. Garnish with a lime wheel.
