We will enter the Pedro Miguel locks in about an hour and Miraflores locks probably around two hours from now and then the massive doors will open and let Karl into the Pacific!!! While looking for a cell phone signal in my tender outside of Squirrel Cove in Desolation Sound, this whale surfaced just off my stern. A nine foot boat feels rather small in comparison. I just sat and watched for quite some time until it was out of sight.

Terminal manual para obenques, estays y backstays. Cuando no podemos pasar un estay, obenque o backstay porque el terminal es demasiado grueso, tenemos la solución de los terminales tipo Norseman. Son terminales que se montan a mano, in situ. Muchas veces, cuando queremos montar un estay dentro de un enrollador viejo, este último no se puede desmontar, ya que sus componentes están gripados, unidos entre sí por la diferencia de metales y el paso del tiempo.
