The number one item on our checklist to ensure all divers onboard La Galigo have a safe and enjoyable diving experience, is to distribute our #divebuddies evenly into groups with a good diver to #DiveGuide ratio. We run groups of either 4 or 5 divers per guide to give you the best experience possible. This means we dive in three groups where each group has the same skills and experience, accompanied by our expert dive guides. So whatever the scenario we are plunging into, each team member can always find their group. As in the video above, our friend seemed to have a problem with her air tank being strapped in a little loose, but our ever watchful dive guide managed to help her with ease so she could quickly carry on the adventure. With full sails and steady winds, we arrive just in time for a golden sunset in the bay of Peguera. We explore the historic heart of Palma, including the stunning Palma Cathedral (La Seu) and the Royal Palace of La Almudaina, before enjoying some authentic Mallorcan cuisine at a local favorite. Back on board, it’s time for some essential sailboat maintenance. We take down our headsail, inspect and lubricate the furling system, and patch a few tears on the leech. With Vika on the winch and Kaia back in shape, we’re ready to continue our journey.
