The ➰ Snuggle Hitch is super-charged Clove Hitch that is stronger and more secure. Use it for attaching a line to a spar or rope. It works for both lengthways and right-angled pulls. Easy to release and only seconds longer to tie than the Clove. 🔸 Wrap the line around and bring the working end across diagonally from right to left over the standing part. 🔸 Lead the working end back over & lead it up behind, over diagonally from left to right. Then tuck up through the first loop. 🔸 🔸 🔸 #knots #ropes #hitch #snugglehitch #katschool #multihulls #sailing #catamarans #rope #learnknots #sailingschool #katamarans #howtotieahitch #howtotieknots #learntosail #lovesailing #katknots
No words. Just simple, step-by-step how-to content. This Tech Team Express Video shows you how to adjust the engage point on Harken Ratchamatic Blocks. To increase or decrease the load at which the ratchet engages, first, move the sheave so the hole in the sheave’s groove is at the bottom of the block. Insert a 2.5 mm Allen wrench and turn clockwise to engage at higher loads and counterclockwise for lighter loads. You will need to remove the becket before adjusting if it is a becket block.
