As part of the 2025 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, shortly after the start as the boat passed Bondi Beach LawConnect Owner Christian Beck and Australian swimming legend Ian Thorpe AM honoured those who lost their lives in the recent Bondi terror attack by scattering rose petals. Fifteen yachts representing the race’s organisers, the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia – one for every victim who sadly lost their life during the tragedy - were also part of the memoriam. A host of other competitors joined in honouring those lost on December 14, 2025.

Connecting with people and places through the local cuisine, and showing how those dishes can be cooked on a boat with limited space and resources. We share our adventures as a sailing couple living on a boat and how it’s possible to live an #alternativelifestyle that provides freedom and fulfillment.
