August 5, 2015, marks one year until Rio 2016 Olympic Games begins. The Australian Sailing Team have been training hard on the waters in Rio de Janeiro, preparing for the chance to bring home Olympic medals for Australia. Red Sailboat, free sailing Bought second hand in awful condition, restored and put to good use. It came with cotton sails, albeit cut with scissors for reasons unknown (!) Also no boom and no joint to have one. Sails were sewn back, boom was added but somwhow it was too heavy. Leaned too much, cotton caught water and boat capsized. Luckily I found a fiberglass rod from a broken umbrella, and some synthetic fabric for some new sails. This is the first run, tethered
