El mÃĄstil, que estÃĄ compuesto de simple aluminio, sufre unas cargas terribles por la presiÃŗn que ejerce el viento en las velas. Esto aumenta cuando viene una racha de viento o al virar el barco. Date cuenta que si se suelta un obenque o un estay, la rotura del mÃĄstil y desarboladura del mismo es inminente. Living in a shipyard you don't expect to see a baby turtle up close and personal but we were lucky enough to do just that when this little one turned up! While we often spot adult turtles out on the water in Chaguaramas, Scotland Bay, Gasparee and Chacachacare, and have even swum with them before in the Philippines, this was our first time watching a baby go past.
