In spring I harvest birch sap - a healthy water from the trees containing vitamins, amino acids, sugars, minerals, proteins and antioxidants. It is best to let the tree rest for a couple of years before doing it again and to plug the hole carefully after extraction. We had to remove the tarp now! It was becoming more and more unbearable to work under it, and we assessed that it wouldn’t hold back the rain coming next week anyway☔️ Now we just need to lightly sand over the various deck fittings and seal the holes with all the different fittings we’ve removed from the deck. A big thanks to @paa.dybt.vand for helping us getting rid of the tarp 🙏🏻 We will most likely put it back on on the aft part of the deck when we start to renovate that part sometime in the coming week 🥵
