To keep the heat out of our boat during the day, we use our GoSun to warm up some Nasi Goreng and cook the eggs for the first time in it. It was delicious!

Day 5 in Tokyo. I am away from Wahine for 6 weeks, having family time and writing and working. This is my second stint in Tokyo this summer. The city is sweltering—hot, humid, relentless. But even here, in a place that never sleeps, there's value in stillness. In this reflective moment, I take a break from the motion—no meetings, no walking, no talking—just watching the river, the skyline, and letting the mind breathe. Irish Sailing have partnered with Water Safety Ireland and the RNLI in a pre-season push to reduce incidents on coasts and waterways. If you’d like to do some more training or brush up on what you already know, Irish Sailing has over 100 training centres around the country offering courses in sailing and windsurfing as well as powerboating and other specialised instruction.
