It's over two months since beautiful Mischief was reported stolen by charter guests in Croatian waters . There is no news and there are no further updates. We still cannot believe it, it’s still so surreal, and no less devastating to it's owners! Never mind that they lost their boat, the emotional distress of dealing with the admin of the theft is very real for them on a daily basis. All we can do is just hope that somewhere in the world just one person notices her, notices that something seems out of place and doesn’t look right and reports it. One of my new favourite knots is the Zeppelin Bend, for tying 2 ropes together. It's a very strong knot from the late 18th century that was used to secure Zeppelin airships full of hydrogen or helium to the ground. This video will quickly show you how to tie one. .... This knot can cope with a huge strain and it won't jam under load, meaning you can untie it in an emergency: it's the Mother of all knots. ... Zeppelins were up to 3 times longer than a 747. That's quite a force for a knot. Sure, you can just use a Sheet Bend for the same purpose, but why ask Mr Bean for help when you know Schwarzenegger? Anyway, this knot has a great back story and a cool name: the Zepper!
