But the weather soon shifts, and we prepare for the arrival of a powerful Mistral storm. We sail to the well-protected bay of Fornells, where we ride out 50-knot winds in complete calm. After restocking and taking the dogs to shore, we continue our coastal journey, catching a fish off Isla d’en Colom and anchoring just outside the entrance to Mahón as the sun sets.
