The aft cabin is one of the biggest spaces on Vela, but we still see so much potential to optimize! Hereโs what weโre planning: ๐ ๏ธ Extra Storage: Weโre building cabinets on each side of the bed and adding shelves inside the hanging lockersโbecause you can never have too much storage for clothes and gear on a boat. ๐ก Desk Transformation: That โmake-up tableโ (seriously, who uses it?) is getting a makeover! Weโre turning it into a retractable desk with shelves aboveโperfect for working or planning our next adventures. ๐ฌ๏ธ Ventilating Cupboard Doors: On our nice-to-have list are ventilating doors for better airflow and to prevent condensationโpractical and pretty. ๐ง Watermaker Plans: Weโre considering fitting the membranes for our watermaker under the bed, making good use of otherwise empty space.
