Today we took the apprentices on a day out to visit The Sutton Hoo ship replica, an Anglo-Saxon ship which was buried in the 7th century and is now being replicated thanks to the amazingly talented restorers at The Sutton Hoo Ship Company in Woodbridge, Suffolk. Our short pause- sailing around Koh Chang, Thailand, left me with a taste for more: small islands (not all of them are inhabited) and those that are, are pampered in resorts and good restaurants. Pristine beaches, white and velvety sand, clear water (sometimes tingling), and swings - my weakness. Refreshing massages, fine cuisine, every sunset with a pina colada, breathtaking views, and gentle people, it was refreshing to be part of a flotilla of 5 yachts, Thank You, Dudi - via maris, for this lovely flotilla adventure. #sailingchannel #sailing #shorts
