¿Qué harás en las prácticas para obtener tu título de Patrón o Capitán de Yate? En las salidas te enseñaremos a aplicar lo aprendido en la teoría, como puede ser: ✔ Planificar la derrota ✔ Fondear de manera correcta ✔ Formación en seguridad y emergencias ✔ Guardias de navegación nocturna ✔ Y mucho más Para obtener el título de Patrón de Yate, a parte de aprobar la teoría, es necesario realizar un crucero de prácticas, el cual deberá tener una duración mínima de 48 h. de navegación continuada. Las prácticas se realizan en modalidad de travesía, embarcando un grupo limitado de alumnos (máximo 7) en nuestro buque-escuela de 15 m de eslora. Gig Harbor Boat Works demonstrates a prototype of a new tandem rowing system that allows two rowers to face each other while rowing! Recently we had a request from a couple who enjoyed rowing and wanted a tandem sliding seat boat... but wanted to be able to see each other while both of them are rowing. That sounds like a tough request, but we enjoy 'imagineering' anything! We built a 16.5 Melonseed rowboat with tandem sliding seats, then incorporated standard aft-facing forward position with a forward-facing aft position. The result? Perfect fore and aft trim, remarkable speed excellent directional control AND the rowers can converse easily!
