A new option is to black anodize or powder-coat the majority of the aluminum and stainless steel fittings located around the boat. The mast, boom, cross-beam, longeron and seagull striker can also be wrapped in a carbon fiber vinyl. These were both first done on Hull 10, "Umbono" (Vision in Zulu) which was launched October 20, 2022. It looks great and provides a very bold look. We have decided not to go this route, but it does look really nice, especially with a non-white hull color! Want more? Diesmal liegt ein ganz besonderes Highlight auf unserer Route: Die schmalste Meerenge der Welt. Diese kann aufgrund starker Strömungen nur nachts durchfahren werden. Während der Durchfahrt im Pulk mit einigen Segelbooten staut es sich gerade an der engsten Stelle bedenklich! Seht selbst, ob wir heil durchkommen und was wir noch so erleben auf dieser Tour. This time there is a very special highlight on our route: the narrowest strait in the world. Due to strong currents, it can only be crossed at night. During the passage in a group with a few sailing boats, there is a serious traffic jam at the narrowest point! See for yourself whether we get through safely and what else we experience on this tour.
