Discover why you should pay a visit to Nairn Harbour on your next adventure sailing Scotland! Dating back to the 4th century, the ancient fishing port of Nairn didn’t become a popular holiday destination until the 1800s, attracting visitors keen to explore the Highlands, Moray Firth coastline and nearby Loch Ness. Home to one of the only two colonies of dolphins in the UK, today’s Nairn is also a magnet for marine enthusiasts and yachtsmen keen to get a glimpse at these most fascinating of sea creatures. As a result the old fishing harbour has received a new lease of life as a berthing site for pleasure craft, many of which join in the frequent racing events organised by the local sailing club. It's no secret I love going to the Central Market in Port of Spain, the capital city of Trinidad & Tobago. Hailed by many live aboard yacht cruisers as one of the best fresh food markets in the Caribbean, we get almost all of our fresh produce from there. The shrimp is freshly caught so I buy some every week, but this time we got to try a giant king prawn, the biggest I've ever seen! Safe to say it was delicious! If you're ever in Trinidad be sure to swing past the market and check it out for yourself. ______________________________________________ https://www.travelsketchsailing.com/ ☝Check out the website for more info on us, the places we go and products we use 📷 After backpacking Asia, road tripping Europe and doing a bit of van life, we’re now exploring the world aboard our Leopard 45 catamaran. 🎶 Music from Artlist ➼ Get yourself 2 months free with a subscription https://artlist.io/Telicia-1577425 #sailing #catamaran #travelvlog #digitalnomad #LifeStyle #travel #trinidad
