After trying a range of home cooked dishes and practicing cooking Trinidadian cuisine I'm starting to learn the flavour profile! It's delicious but so different to what I'm used to growing up in Australia, where Asian and European cooking influences are more common. Want to know why Australians love lamb? Google our Australia Day lamb ads and take it with a sense of Australian humour 😉 After some internal debate I decided to try cooking some lamb in a curry inspired by Trinidad cooking, using pimento, peppers, Chief spices and of course, green seasoning. The outcome was pretty good and convinced me my next challenge should be curried goat! ______________________________________________ https://www.travelsketchsailing.com/ ☝Check out the website for more info on us, the places we go and products we use 📷 After backpacking Asia, road tripping Europe and doing a bit of van life, we’re now exploring the world aboard our Leopard 45 catamaran. 🎶 Music from Artlist ➼ Get yourself 2 months free with a subscription https://artlist.io/Telicia-1577425 #travelvlog #digitalnomad #LifeStyle #travel #trinidad #caribbean #localcooking #trinidadandtobago #curryrecipe

The the Over Hand Knot is one of if not the simples of knots to tie, chances are you already know how to tie it you just don't know what it is called. It is a stopper knot that can be used to stop sheet and halyards from running through cleats and pulleys. For a full tutorial follow the link below. https://youtu.be/5z3BR2vCTcc The Over Hand Knot creates a relatively small stopper and can become loose prior to load tightening the knot. If you are using small line you may need to upgrade to stopper knot which create a larger stopper. The Overhand Knot is also be called the Simple Knot or Half Knot. The Overhand Knot is one if not the first knots that everyone learns to tie, weather you know it or not. So leaning how to tie may not actually be required, this video may just be telling you something you already know. Learn more sailing knots from the following playlist. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMoCfFBA9IMUcOoZy5QT-o66DM8uHukkH If you want to know even more knots why not pick up a copy of the definitive book on knots. The Ashley Book of Knot has approximately 3900 different kinds, from simple hitches to “Marlinspike Seamanship.” Mr. Ashley has included almost everything there is to know about them. Precisely named and classified (some new ones for the first time officially), they can be easily found in the big index. He tells when they appeared, something about their history, and what they are good for. . https://amzn.to/3fkisle We hope you enjoyed todays video, thanks for stopping by and supporting Bottom up Boats, as an amazon associate we get commission from associated sales.
